ABOUT US

The Out of Country Voting (OCV) initiative for Palestine/Holy Land presents a new approach which looks at the expulsion of people from the Holy Land/Palestine/Israel in 1948 and 1967 as also an expulsion of 'voters'.

As a Palestinian diaspora or refugee:

    Q. Would you like the opportunity to vote in a referendum on any solutions?
    Q. Would you like the opportunity to elect people who can speak for you in negotiations?
    Q. Would you like your voter registration to show your ancestral home town or village?

The aim of this website is to show the opportunities available for diaspora and refugees to vote and be heard. On these pages you will find information on Out of Country Voting procedures, its past uses in other countries, as well as the mechanisms that make its application in Palestine possible. The website also provides links and information for people to move the idea forward and a help point for finding others who are starting the process and would like to get involved and learn/link from/to other groups. This is an interactive website and suggestions for improvement are always welcome.
